Youth Learning Pathways was developed as a second-order response to work in conjunction with the Department of Justice and Regulation (DoJR) funded Crime Prevention Programs to address an emerging issue of increased criminal activity within young people concentrated in several locations including the NW region of Melbourne. Youth Learning Pathways is funded for two years and is focussed on providing necessary support services in order for young people currently involved, or at high risk of involvement in the justice system to participate and success in education and training as a tailored pathway to employment. The program is facilitated across Melton, Wyndham and Brimbank and targets young people aged between 17-25 years.
